Marshall Klein Knights for Vision Fellowship Award

$1,000 or more donated over 3 consecutive years

The Marshall Klein Knights for Vision Fellowship recognizes service and support for New Jersey eye banking by an individual or Club who donates $1,000 or more to Eversight over a three-year period.

Marshall Klein is synonymous with eye banking in New Jersey. He served as executive director for the New Jersey Lions Eye Bank for 35 years and executive director of the Lions Sight Foundation for 20 years. Since 2010, he has served as president of the Fund for the New Jersey Blind. Klein has been a dedicated Lion since joining the North Arlington Lions Club in 1954, later serving as the club’s president and as Council Chairman, District Governor and Chairman of the State Sight Committee. He is among the few New Jersey Lions to have received Lions International’s highest honor, the Ambassador of Good Will Award.

Knights for Vision Fellows honored in his name receive an engraved crystal desktop pedestal, a gold lapel pin, a certificate and a congratulatory letter. Once named as a Knights for Vision Fellow, honorees can be re-nominated with an additional $1,000 contribution and will join Eversight’s Fellowship Progressive Circle. Progressive Fellows are awarded a new multi-stone lapel pin, a certificate and a congratulatory letter for each subsequent fellowship recognition.

Elspeth Moore Sight Conservation Fellowship Award

$500 or more donated over 3 consecutive years

The Elspeth Moore Sight Conservation Fellowship recognizes service and support for New Jersey eye banking by an individual or Club who donates $500 or more to Eversight over a three-year period.

Elspeth Moore has been a pioneer among New Jersey women in Lionism, serving as District Governor, Council Chair, State Advisor, as well as LCIF Chair. She has served as chair of the Eversight Advisory Board in New Jersey and on the Eversight Board of Directors. A dedicated educator,
Moore was named New Jersey Teacher of the Year in 2002.

Sight Conservation Fellows honored in her name receive an engraved crystal desktop pedestal, a silver lapel pin, a certificate and a congratulatory letter. Once named as a Sight Conservation Fellow, honorees can be re-nominated with an additional $500 contribution and will join Eversight’s Fellowship Progressive Circle. Progressive Fellows are awarded a new multi-stone lapel pin, a certificate and a congratulatory letter for each subsequent fellowship recognition.
