A tribute from Marty

I want to my express deepest appreciation to all the people involved who helped bring an end to my many years-long travail of vision difficulties. I especially wish to thank my blessed donor and their family for allowing me the benefit of their vision. It has given me a priceless gift. From this heartfelt gift I can now continue my work maintaining the high-tech equipment treating cancer patients both in the US and internationally which has been central to my life for most of my professional career. Perhaps even more important, I can now more fully enjoy my life as a father of 4, grandfather to five children all under 5, and as a devoted husband to my wife of over 42 years.

Thank you all again and I hope the blessing that has been bestowed upon me through this very selfless donation will help bring peace and comfort to all who knew the person whose eyes now enable me to see.
