A tribute from: NashaBeth Cleaver, Donor Daughter

My Mother

My family decided to donate my mother’s eyes after she lost her battle with stage 4 lung cancer, COPD, and A-fib (ireggular heatbeat). She was a strong, loving, and caring person and she always helped people when she could. She had been fighting for 5 years after she was diagnosed in 2010 with lung cancer. She had made it a couple of times in remission but the cancer got stronger than she was, she had to deal with lots of pain and cried day in and day out. To the man in Sterling, Michigan and the woman in Chicago, Illinois I am greatful that you two were the lucky recipiants of my mother’s eyes, I also am thankful she gave the ultimate gift to see.
