CHICAGO, April 1, 2022 — The Grainger Foundation awarded Eversight a grant at the end of 2021 to support general operations. This gift will help transform the lives of cornea transplant recipients, donors and their families in Illinois and beyond who benefit from Eversight’s research and innovations.
Last year, Eversight worked with the families of 6,605 eye donors to give the gift of sight to 8,595 people across the United States and abroad. Eversight also worked with donors to provide 3,441 tissues to advance research and clinical knowledge. This gift from the Grainger Foundation will ensure Eversight can continue to provide the gift of sight to more than 8,000 people in 2022.
