Brand Specialist - Graphic Designer

Eversight is seeking an energetic graphic design professional to create thoughtful, innovative marketing materials that support our mission to restore sight and prevent blindness around the world. As a member of the Marketing Communications team, you will facilitate all in-house design, preparation, production and distribution of print, electronic and online media for Eversight and its six affiliates.

Eversight Manager, Clinical Services

Eversight Connecticut is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to ensure effective eye recovery, donor eligibility and processing services through day-to-day management and long term planning of the laboratory. The manager will direct and develop staff; collaborate with medical and clinical directors and multidisciplinary staff; deliver customer satisfaction and provide leadership in clinical problem solving.

The manager’s responsibilities include overseeing technical staff; hiring, training, and coaching employees; communicating performance expectations; ensuring that all laboratory functions are conducted within established standards, policies, procedures and protocols; collaborating with leadership and others in designing and executing strategies to further the activities and constituent relationships of Eversight; developing and monitoring the annual laboratory budget, reporting on variances; participating in negotiations with vendors to provide cost effective services, equipment and supplies.

Eversight Connecticut is seeking an exceptional individual who has strong management skills and can lead and coach technical staff. This manager is passionate about building a strong team and has the ability to interact with all levels within the organization and in the professional community. Must have strong analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in biological science, human sciences or a related field is required. Master’s degree such as in health or human services, business or organizational management is preferred. Experience within Eye Banking and/or Tissue Banking a plus. A valid driver’s license is required.

Eversight Communications and Logistics Center Donor Specialist

This position supports the functions of the corporate Communications and Logistics Center (CLC) through the intake of eye donor referrals, screening of donor information for transplant or research suitability and the coordination of eye tissue recovery and tissue transportation.
