New leaders bring decades of experience in healthcare, nonprofit development

Eversight strengthens leadership team to advance mission impact

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Aug. 20, 2025  – Global nonprofit eye bank Eversight today announced new leadership team appointments that will further its mission to restore sight and prevent blindness through the healing power of donation, transplantation and research.

Brian Roberts, CFO

Lora Cabarios is named Vice President of Philanthropy, providing strategic direction for Eversight’s philanthropic initiatives, cultivating meaningful relationships with supporters, partners and stakeholders. She brings two decades of experience in fundraising and nonprofit leadership, including work with Leader Dogs for the Blind. Cabarios holds a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal and public communication from Central Michigan University.

Brian Roberts is named Chief Financial Officer, overseeing financial operations, including forecasting, investing and strategic planning. He brings over two decades of experience in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors and collaborates with executive leadership to drive sustainable growth and support positive impact for those served by Eversight. Roberts holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Butler University and an MBA from Michigan State University.
