Eversight receives $10,000 grant focused on staff development and education

A gift for knowledge

June 15, 2017—Eversight is brimming with some of the most knowledgeable and talented professionals in eye banking because of a commitment to employee development.

That promise to cultivate staff growth and skill continues thanks to the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation and a $10,000 grant to fund the Gift of Knowledge—a program that raises the proficiency and expertise of Eversight employees through national conferences and study materials.

Based in Midland, Michigan, the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation strives to award grants which will enhance communities for all citizens. Eversight has received support from the Foundation in the past for staff development and also to educate the public about the importance of registering to be an eye, organ and tissue donor.

“Just like Eversight, the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation is committed to investing in our local Michigan communities,” said Diana Kern, Eversight Vice President of Philanthropy. “It is an honor to receive this impactful grant that will allow our passionate staff to seek new knowledge and training programs.”

In this season of gratitude, Eversight has launched a matching
